An order does not start at the sewing machine. It starts when the fabric roll is opened and left to relax. Fabric that has been folded in transit needs time to settle before it is cut, or the pieces shrink unevenly after the first wash.
Next we check the roll for shade variation. Two rolls of the same navy can sit slightly differently. If the difference is visible, we keep one roll for one size set instead of mixing panels across a single garment.

Cutting is where the size chart becomes real. We lay the marker to use fabric efficiently, but never at the cost of grainline. A panel cut slightly off-grain twists after washing, and no amount of stitching can fix that.
Every bundle is numbered and matched to its size and colour before it moves to stitching. That numbering is what lets us trace a problem later, whether it is one sleeve or an entire size run.
The first 48 hours are quiet. There is no visible progress on a spreadsheet. But this is the stage that decides whether the next two weeks run smoothly.
