Corporate gifting has its own constraints. The garment is often a polo, the logo is small, and the recipient will judge it closely because it is a gift.
A polo has a placket, buttons and a thicker knit. A logo placed too close to the placket looks crowded and stitches unevenly over the button stand. We shift placement slightly and resize the logo for the available space.

The knit also changes stitch density. A dense logo on pique can pucker. We open the density a little and use a backing that disappears into the knit instead of showing at the edges.
For gifting, we usually recommend a single-colour logo in a thread that matches the brand, not a full-colour reproduction. It reads cleaner at small sizes and looks more expensive.
If the gift includes a name, put the name on the sleeve or the opposite chest, never directly under the logo. Two embroideries stacked on a polo chest is the fastest way to make a premium gift look busy.
